About Me

ABOUT ME

Where do I start.. I lived in Holland until August and studied International Food and Agri business but I quit this summer and started my own business. I wanna build gardens in schools to improve the health and food education of kids.

I also loooooove traveling. For me its all about meeting new people from new places! I like to turn my head off, pack my backpack and leave where ever I want to.

My life is about food. Im all about where does it come from, how was it produced and how am i affecting the planet with that.
I am not a vegan (most of the times) and I like to get to know other food cultures and even if they include meat or dairy products I am happy to try what ever crosses my way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think its the best way to get to know other people. Those people can show you their life in this City where you are going to. They are better than any travel guide book :)
And it is an opportunity to take the journy in to your living room and on your couch! I think there is no better way to learn that from other cultures and people who have lived their whole life in a different or similar way than you did and/but have different opinions.

Interests

As I said before my life is about food. I looove to cook and try new receips. I really like to cook for other people rather than just for myself and I love to try stuff out!

Beside of that I love to go for a drink in town and I dont mind if it ends up in dancing and partying all night but I also enjoy a quiet night just with a glas of wine and some good food..

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book at the moment is " Who ordered this Shit load of Dung" by Ajam Brahm an buddhist monk

And my absolute favorit band is Mumford and Sons and they will always be :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been traveling through New Zealand and without any intention came to work as a chef in a buddhist centre in Coromandel for 3 month. I think that was one of the best times in my life, even tho it felt like the worst during it sometimes... I learned so many lessons on patience and happiness there I counldnt imagine before...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share all my experiences during my journeys and of course my love to food. I would love to cook for or with you and enjoy good food ;)
