Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking outside the box to see what's out there and join a compelling and exciting direction to an as-yet undefined destination!

UPDATE: JULY 2016 - It's been a few years and so far I have only been a host, looking forward to being hosted this year !

UPDATE: March 2019 This is my year to surf, Hoping to travel by rail and bus around Europe in September, October and first week of November. / adventure cut short due to emergency appendectomy but returning to Barcelona June 2023

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Wow, It's been a few years since I joined this site and what an adventure, I've had a few surfers and one even came and stayed 3 times. I have not been the surfer yet. I've made friends that I would never have met if not for this site. I Love CS !

Update December 2022: In the last few years most requests have been one liners almost as if making a reservation at a hotel. Was there a CS update that no one told me about ? : )
