ABOUT ME

I'm an architectural technologist studying to become an architect. We've been married since we were 23. We aren't big partiers and generally prefer to enjoy life at a slower and calmer pace. We both love animals and have one huge dog and two cats. Generally we go to sleep early (by european standards) around 11:00 to 12:00.

PHILOSOPHY

"Peace, order, and good government".... ooops!, sorry that's Canada's motto. My (jere) philosophy is to keep an open mind. I try not to live life with any preconceptions about people or places. I always give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm not concerned about doing things a certain way because that's how it's supposed to be done. It's more important that it feels right.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far we've only be surfers, but our house is open once we get home from our Europe trip. We appreciate so much what our hosts have provided both in accommodation and culture and we are looking to do the same.

We watch movies all the time. Like all kinds, action, drama, comedy, etc. Jere's into epics like Braveheart and Gladiator.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We booked our flight to the UK. I'm hoping this is the start of our amazing things done/seen list! I got married to Lindsay. Jere once landed a pickup truck on top of frozen pond, but, now that i think of it, that's probably more stupid than amazing.
