I am Linus. I like travelling, meeting new people and technology. It is always hard to summarize me as a person in these 'about me' sections, but I would describe myself as a curious person who likes adventures and new experiences as well as I really appreciate calm evenings alone or with friends. My friends describe me as a happy, ambitious and positive person which I also agree on.

As being grown up in Northern Sweden, I am kind, open-minded and generally easily entertained. I am from a small village called Bollstabruk, about 500km North of Stockholm, but have lived in other cities in Sweden as well as Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very new to couchsurfing and want to get to know new people and get a new perspective on travelling. For me the whole concept is really cool and I like the idea of combining travelling with learning new cultures and experience a county from a native´s perspective. :)

Interests

Okay, honestly when it comes to interests, technology is the thing that mostly gets my attention. I have always been interested in tech and even though I don't see myself as a real tech geek, I must humbly confess that it really is my main interest.

Nevertheless are my other interests also important for me. I also love learning new things and get more new experiences in my life. I simply like to learn new things and personal growth and I also like having stories and experiences I can share with others and give them some input in their life.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movie of all is definitely 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty'

When it comes to music it's basicallly everything except metal (I'm kinda working on that part). Indie, HipHop, some EDM, BritPop... you name it and I probably sometimes listen to it.

Books: The Long Earth Series, Ender's Game and most other fantasy/SciFi books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I felt I didn't like the way I was living, so I quit my job, leased my apartment and headed off for travelling and getting new insights in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how the Internet works and other technology and natural science related things work. I am also happy to teach some Swedish and share stories about my journeys and so on. :)

I'm always happy to learn new things. I like learning languages, culture and of course tech stuff!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I gladly share stories and help out with cooking and other things!
I am still relatively new to Couchsurfing so I'm a bit unsure how the dynamics between host and guest really work but I m happy to find out! :)
