About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Like SCOTS: I'm in search of truth and some pointy boots and maybe a few snack crackers
ABOUT ME
I am a very emotional person, for the best and the worst. I both laugh and cry a lot, but I think I laugh quite a bit more than I cry. Haha. I really love animals, enough to not eat them. And I love rock'n'roll and gypsy punk!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am really eager to discover the world of good and interesting people out there. I have both surfed and hosted some people, and they were all nice and memorable experiences.
I only host people with serious references, who have actually read my profile! If you expect me to answer your message or CS-request, you have to show me some kind of sign that you`ve actually read it. I`m really tired of getting mass-produced messages without any personal touch whatsoever. I my opinion, this is now what CS is supposed to be about at all.
Because I live with 3 other people, I always have to talk with them before I host a surfer, that's why sometimes I answer a bit late.
Interests

Movies: My favorite director is Jim Jarmusch, and I also love Nanni Moretti, Hal Hartley, Almodóvar. Also Cry-Baby, Igby goes down, Me and you and everyone we know, and loads more.
Books: Roman s kokainom (read it in Norwegian, but I don't know the English name), House of The Spirits, everything by Haruki Murakami but specially Kafka on the shore. The Master and Margarita, of course The little prince
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazinf house concert at CSèr Oscars place in Nashville, concerts by the Cramps and Gogol Bordello, les calanques in France, my stay at International House in Berkeley, California. Some singing/playing experiences with other people, and some couchsurfing experiences where we just end up staying up all night..ah!
Teach, Learn, Share
I already used to teach Norwegian, so maybe I can contribute with that? I really dream about learning all languages, so that's something for others to teach me. I also really want to learn more about how people function, why we are often ignorant or cold to eachother, and what we can do to fix this. That is something I'm more than willing to discuss. Hm, what more? I am pretty into music, and maybe I can show you something cool? Or maybe someone can teach me how to play anything?
