ABOUT ME

I grew up in Wilton, CT and made many great, life-long friends here. After high school, I went to college for two years in New Hampshire at Southern New Hampshire University but I wanted to try something new before my college experience was over so I transferred to Fordham University in New York City. On May 18th, 2008, I finally graduated from Fordham with my Bachelor of Arts in English and Poli Sci. During my time as a Fordham Student, I participated in a study abroad program at Charles University in Prague where I took a Czech language class and a Totalitarian Politics class. I traveled quite a bit as well during this time and left the continent to finish school in New York with a promise to someday return to Europe and make a living doing charity work. Two years, one internship at the Coalition for the International Criminal Court/United Nations, one Bachelors Degree, and three London-based charity jobs later, I can finally say "Mission Accomplished".

Now, to find a new mission to pursue...

PHILOSOPHY

There's always someone out there who can do it better than you, so instead of dwelling on your shortcomings, give it your all and you'll see how far and how many places that actually takes you.

Interests

Classical Music, Indie music, the nonprofit sector, Marxism (No, I'm not a Marxist, I am just fascinated by the impact he had), international politics and human rights, dancing, lazy boat rides on warm summer days, writing, literature, snowboarding, going on random adventures, hiking, traveling, being with great people and making new friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an English major so I read books for a living, which includes mainly British literature and some modern works. I want to expand my library to include a wider variety of books. I listen to a lot of rock, including classic rock and more modern stuff. I like music that has a lot of piano or guitar. Sometimes a good rap song will catch my interest. For films, I like documentaries, dramas, comedies, etc.
