ABOUT ME

Just a mom with a 3 year old son who's ready to take on traveling again with small child in tow.... this will be very different from my past experiences as a single girl in her mid twenties working as a nanny in Europe and running wild. That was fun but I'm super excited for my new adventure as a sober, single mom in her mid 30s. Looking at my son and seeing him see the world is going to be absolutely amazing. Teaching him to make friends everywhere he goes, respect cultures, do his homework and be prepared and excited, nervous yet fearless.... this adventure is going to be great!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I LOVE IT!!! First experience in Berlin January 2008 and then in March 08 took a month hitchhiking and CSing from Amsterdam through France through Italy over to Spain, Belgium, Amsterdam, then finally flew home. Exhausting and amazing, awww to be young again ;)

2019: Last year I stayed with some super cool guys in Hawaii for 2 nights... I've taken a break for several years from couch surfing as I had an infant, and life got to be too busy for me. Now I'm ready to get out there and meet new people. Even if it's a nearby staycation with a family a few hours from my house... it's good to meet new people. I'm not a user, I read profiles before I talk to people. I choose people to socialize with not mooch off of. I look for people I can relate to (which is everyone) and people who seem down to earth and truly kind.
