I am a naturally curious person and I thoroughly enjoy exchanging stories and ideas. For me, the best part of travel - near or far - is always the friends made along the way (and meals shared with those friends, of course!)

I absolutely love the community aspect of CS - the time spent sharing stories with my CS hosts has been phenomenal. Traveling on a budget has gotten harder, but I love that there is this big, beautiful community of people eager to help one another.

BOOKS! Where to even begin? At any given time, I have at least two books on the go (one fiction, one non fiction, typically). A few years ago, I made the switch to a Kobo and - controversial opinion - I don't even miss physical books.

I used to list my faves here, but then I figured, why not chat about it IRL instead 🤗

Relaxed and (hopefully) interesting conversation, especially relating to travel, armchair philosophizing, dogs, and all the ways our current systems need to change. I'm not a great cook, but I seem to always travel with spices to share, so I end up making some kind of meal with most of my hosts (my specialty is cutting veggies).

I try to bring a unique momento for my hosts, too, either from recent travels or my hometown 🙂
