ABOUT ME

Hi all,

I'm Yu Feng, you can call me Lio, my surname, as everyone calls me by that name. I'm currently living in Singapore with my Dad and Sis. Leading a simple life in Singapore, pursuing my Degree in Maritime Studies in Nanyang Technological University. I'm an open-minded and spontaneous person. I can appear shy at first, but I'll open up very quickly! I love to travel whenever I have the opportunity to. I love adventure. Mountain trekking and the outdoors excites me. I love to do things and remain active. I try to eat healthy if possible, so I'm not too much of a foodie, but I definitely wouldn't mind trying out new food.

PS. I have a default bored face when I'm not smiling, but trust me, I'm a friendly, good natured person!!!

PHILOSOPHY

I think my greatest inspiration in life is my mother, seeing how she had so much courage and strength to embrace life, and fight through her illnesses and putting on a strong front for my Sis and me. I lost her in 2013 due to her illnesses, but in turn she left us with a stronger and much more mature outlook towards life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm very new to Couchsurfing! Will be glad if anybody can share any experiences.

I have had a positive couchsurfing experience in Taiwan with the most knowledgeable and friendly hosts! They suggested places for us to go to, away from the usual tourists sites, and offer a lot of help with our travel plans! Really grateful and glad to meet such lovely people abroad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have trekked more than 70km in 2 days around Singapore when I was only 16 during my scouting days as a companion for my senior who is a candidate for the President Scout's award. One of the most tiring thing I've done to date.
