Hey, I'm Lio ,

Back from a world tour of 525 days. We visited Asia, Oceania, South + North America and finally ended up with Africa. We worked really hard and saved money for a long time to have the opportunity to do the travel of our dreams and wishes.

Optimist, happy with simple and easy things, we love music, longboards, sailing, and are ready to learn more about the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS because i love to meet and share good times with people from around the world. I used almost 20 times CS or similar options during our world tour.

When we were travelling, we loved and we tried to be as much as possible near the culture and the habits of the local people we met.
It's usually very spontaneous times and sometimes with good surprises and that makes travel and CS lifestyle really exciting !

I think also that stay with local people trough Couchsurfing is the best way to discover an area and the people's habits.

Interests

I have a lot of interests !

I'm passionate about sailing. And beside that I love to play bass and music. Beekeeping is also one of the things I love to do . I used to design and build my own longboards in wood.

Surfing, beachvolley, skiing, running. All of that is nice .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We spent more than 5 weeks on the Gilbert's Island also known as Kiribati. It's an unknown and very remoted group of islands between Fidji's and Hawaii. It's so unknown that even CS doesn't suggest it on their list of "country I've been". We fished almost every day and ate what we found on the island. Unfortgettable .

Teach, Learn, Share

During our travel we realized that a great thing to do is discover a culture and people with a typical meal for exemple.
Food explain a lot of the past, the habits and the culture of a place.
So we would like to share a typical meal from where we are, salty or sweet, there's something for every mouths.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The old part of Bienne is cozy and beautiful, as well as the lake side. I can share stories about our world tour, of the area we live and eat/drink something local with our host.
