About Me
Hi there :)
So.. My name is Lior - which means 'my light in life' in the Hebrew language.
I recently finish my Political Science and Business Administration and Management double degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and moved to Tel Aviv.
The moment I feel the most and least significant as a human being is when I wander around in a new place and feel as if I am conquering a new adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm always open for new experiences and love doing spontaneous and fun filled things.
I would say in general I'm an optimistic person. Like most couchsurfers I love traveling. I love meeting new people, discussing whatever comes to mind and suddenly learn new ways of thinking!
Music, Movies, and Books
Books I've read and enjoyed :
Dan Brown - Angels and Demons, Da Vinci Code.
Stefan Zweig - The World of Yesterday
Movies I've seen and enjoyed:
Catch me if you can, ALL the James Bond movies, Imitation Game, ALL the X-men movies
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Initiated, programmed and carried out an idea I had for a youth movement that ended up blowing up from my home town to the national level.
The idea behind the program was to help underprivileged children from my home town to learn more about our marine eco system all while earning a scuba diving license in exchange for signing an agreement in which every Saturday morning the children would scuba dive and clean the beaches from the pollution and educate others of the dangers and effects of ocean pollution on marine life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think traveling is amazing and should be affordable for everyone. In the big picture I believe that every conversation with some one is a journey and adventure, having that said I can teach any one that's willing to learn anything I have experienced or have been taught. I am willing to learn anything anyone is willing to teach, whether it's an ideology, a language, a skill or common knowledge.
Sharing is caring. Sharing is the willingness to help in order to make this world a better place.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it. You can make more money, but you can't make more time. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you'll never get back. Your time is your life. That is why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time.
If you only let me, I am willing to share with you my being - my time and everything that entails.
