ABOUT ME

I'm an up beat, sometimes sarcastic and silly adventurer. I'm super laid back and like people who are very similar in temperament. I'm also really good at finding something entertaining or exciting to do when faced with insurmountable soul crushing boredom. I have lots of random knowledge and random skills, sort of like McGyver but with no mullet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm pretty new to the CouchSurfing experience. I've offered my house up for crashing at on CouchSurfing.com and am currently looking for places to crash while taking a solo motorcycle trip this summer.

Books are awesome. Unfortunately they take a lot of time and I never get to read as much as I want. I love things by Neil Stephenson such as Snow Crash. I also love Enders Game, Where the Red Fern Grows, The Forever War, The Diamond Age and others.

Movies: Snatch, Fight Club, The Matrix, Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Memento, American History X, Equilibrium, Braveheart, V for Vendetta, The Big Lebowski and about a million others.

Music: Dave Matthews, Scorpions, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Matchbox 20, Metallica, ACDC, tons of classic rock, Counting Crows, Beattles, Green Day, Jack Johnson, Linkin Park, Modest Mouse, O.A.R., Poison, Offspring, Santana, The Fray, U2 etc.

I have tons of random knowledge. I like sharing all of it too. I'm a Fire Fighter, so I can teach lots of fun pieces of fire science there. I'm also an EMT, so if you need to learn how to do a field tracheotomy, I'm here for you. I can also fix lots of things with lots of other things that shouldn't be possible. I'm a technology genius (also modest :P). I want to learn just as much as I know though. Languages, astronomy, medicine, culture, life etc. If you know it I want to learn it. I love to learn new things from interesting people.
