Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a documentary storyteller who focuses on the firsthand accounts of everyday people to teach us how to be good human beings. I'm very interested in stories from different cultures, because they can show a great deal about how we perceive and frame things.

Interests

If I am not doing these things, I am doing what I can to earn the money to do them: Cycling, Scuba Diving, Hiking, Paddling, Running, and Riding.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Solo trips are a pretty consistent way to shake yourself up and refresh your perspective. Photographing dolphins leaping out of the water while on the bow of a speeding boat... learning you know more Spanish than you think when you're in dire need of medical attention...making friends with a doctor cycling a snowy Canadian bike path when you're the only two crazy enough to ride it in winter... or simply hovering upside down over an underwater desert expanse and giving things a think!
