Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to make my 6 degrees of separation shorter. I want to meet people of all backgrounds, ages and walks of life. I love to hear everyone's stories and share lessons of the past and dreams of the future.

Music: anything and everything depending on mood. Love me some blues and jazz. Also listen a lot to matra/kirtan songs.
Books: currently reading books on the feminine energies. All time favorites: The Alchemist and Siddharta

Movies: love psychological movies that make you think. Love Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Mr. Nobody, and Inception. Also love to watch Documentaries and to have deep existentialism discussions after.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to 70 counties in 12 years of nomadic lifestyle.
Volunteered in Canada, Honduras, Haiti, Belize, Jamaica, South Africa, Albania in schools, orphanages, and homes.
Learned a language from TV.
Lived on ships for 3 years.
Traveled solo to many countries.
Visited 4 out of 7 World Wonders (trying to do all 7).
Traveled to 5 out of 7 continents (goal is to do all 7).
Performed shows in front of thousands of people.
Met some of my best friends through Couchsurfing.
Wrote a school course based on cultures and traveling.
Downsized everything I own to fit in 1.5 luggages.
2012 was my most traveled year with 24 countries.
Attended several Vipassana Meditation courses.
Played with elephants and lions in South Africa.
Bungee jumped in Ecuador.
Zip lined in Niagara Falls, Ecuador, and Honduras.
Slept in the Sahara desert, desert of Jordan, UAE and Oman.
Went to Burning Man.
Was a DJ called DJ Loca.
