Currently living with my partner in Oxford, UK, but before that, I lived in Taiwan, traveled all over Asia, and I'm originally from Israel.
I love Chinese culture and history, I enjoy practicing Yoga, reading, and will always be up for a hike.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Would love to have travelers in my home and help them find a cheap and caring place to stay during their trips to Oxford, and would also be happy to find new friends to meet and stay with on my future trips.

Interests

I have a great contrast inside me where I just LOVE both staying at home, drinking wine and playing cards, but also really enjoy going outdoors to enjoy a challenging hike and sleeping in a tent.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am addicted to Kendrick Lamar, and I like Hip-Hop in general, but most of the time I'd choose Kendrick if I'm in the mood for that kind of music. When I cook and when I'm working I always enjoy 60-70s rock & folk.
My favorite type of books is science fiction, mostly dystopic books like Brave New World, 1984, Animal Farm, etc, but at the moment I'm actually reading Harry Potter for the first time, and loving it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On 2022 I moved to Taipei, Taiwan for 6 months to learn Chinese in an intensive course.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach a bit of Hebrew and Chinese, I'd love to cook some Israeli food, can always share my love for Kendrick Lamar, and many thoughts on modern-time society.
