Local markets are fascinating! The variety of people foods products and all the hassle around it is an experience for all the senses, I can walk around them for hours.
As a designer living in the middle east I will always feel 'far' from all that's happening in Paris, London and NY so whenever a good exhibition opens here I try not to miss it.
Old cafe's and shops - being local means knowing all the secret places where things are being sold and done as in another time. I know some quite well but am always learning about new ones.
The Beach is best before the summer starts and after the summer ends so with my dog or with friends, beach life is the essence of the city,
And of course Hummus!
