About Me

THIS IS THE PAGE I SHARE WITH MY HUSBAND!

CURRENTLY TRAVELING!

The most important thing to know about me: I am friendly, open-minded, communicative and easy-going girl.

When I am at home, I am trying to be the best host I've had while travelling. And when travelling and being at somebody's place, I am trying to be a surfer I would love to have around at my own place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To share and to pay back all the kindness of so many strangers who helped us when we were travelling and in need

Interests

I am a travelling addict, animals lover and 4.20 time believer. I love talking about all kinds of stuff, starting from the recipe of some traditional dishes up to politics and religious wars.

Overall, I am just a normal human being. I help whoever I can whenever I can and hope I can earn some good karma this way.

I am very sensitive when we talk about the abuse, cruelty and bad attitude towards animals. So I volunteer at the local shelter at home every time I go back there. And it fills my heart with joy - knowing I have saved someone's life, even though that someone might just be a stray pittbull....

At the moment we are traveling and I am trying to figure out how to turn it into my full-time job 😎

My husband is smart, kind and adventurous. He is the most accepting person I have ever met. He was the one who finally explained the true meaning of the famous biblical phrase to me : "Let he who is without a sin cast the first stone".

He is now working as an English teacher for a Chinese app called Palfish, but his education is in History, so get ready to know where tomatoes come from and how the colonies worked 😅

He is also extremely interested in all sorts of things: mechanics, physics, astronomy, geography, hitching, music, politics and many more.

I feel like we can support pretty much any topic: employment issues in Vietnam, difficulty in learning a foreign language, diving experience, photography, horseback riding, tips on how to train a dog, healthcare system, government policies of the US and UA, children psychology, recent scientific research etc etc etc.

The best way to figure out if we can find things to talk about and be friends is to simply meet up 😎

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed the mountain in Albania and caught a sheep there 🐑

Talked for 2 days with a person who did not have any common language with me 🇹🇷

Woken up next to the Atlantic ocean after walking there 35km in one day 🌊

Walked from one country to another, multiple times. Once hitchhiked through 3 countries (did 3 border crossings) with the same guy! 😱

Got married in Denmark without my passport ✅

Moved to another continent with no plan 🙈

Flown during the Covid on Qatar airways flight for 10 hours straight in a mask and a shield on my face 🥵

Found a place to rent in Brazil in 12 hours

I have also eaten Indian food and did not die etc

BTW:Wayne's got even more stories.
