I'm from the United States but have lived abroad in Arequipa, Peru. I moved to Peru in July of 2015. I taught English at the University and private English classes as well. Peru is where my love for couchsurfing got started. I love to run, dance, hike and read. I love trying new things and learning about new cultures and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a lot of friends in Arequipa that are couch surfing hosts and they always rave about how much fun it is to meet new people while they are traveling. I couchsurfed through Argentina and Chile and had great experiences. This trip to Kenya and Tanzania have been great so far but I feel more like an observer and would rather get more of a local feel, so I thought I'd try it out again!
