About Me

Hi all curious people in the world!!

I love trying new things and to explore countries by foot, canoe, bike or hitch hiking. When I have got time I enjoy creating own stuff, like knitting, sewing, drawing, or other handicrafts.
I am an uncomplicate tolerant person, mostly optimistic!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the interaction with people so why sleeping at a boring hotel if there are waiting so many nice surprises on the more adventurous way?

Interests

Right now I am very interested in Lindy Hop, medical plants and graphical illustration. I like going into the theatre, cinema or a good exhibition, reading, swimming or hanging out in my favourite café in Münster where you would find me playing some board game or table soccer.

Music, Movies, and Books

uff, there are hundreds of artists I would like to list. Mostly I am listening to "Oldie"-Music from the genres Funk, Swing, Soul and Rock`n`Roll (Aretha Franklin, The Doors, Cream, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd,...) From the newer stuff I am fond of Oasis, Waldeck, The Dandy Warhols, The White Stripes, Arctic Monkeys, B.R.M.C, Feist, Balmorhea, Sade, Kings of Convenience, Razorlight,...
My taste for books is difficult to describe. The latest ones I really loved are "Dracula", Casanova ("The Story of My life"), "Der unsichtbare Apfel", "Die unendliche Geschichte", Christine Nöstlingers Biografie "Glück ist was für Augenblicke" und "Die Geschichte von Herrn Sommer".
When I go to the cinema I prefer small ones where there are shown rather unknown arthouse style movies. If I don't have to watch them alone I also like horror movies ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

European Voluntary Service (EVS) in a Youth Center in Tallinn for half a year.
It was an incredibly intense time where I learned so much, without even noticing.
I had the oppurtunity to start a small project for "World Children`s Day" and so we went from kindergarden to kindergarden for one week in order to create a great and funny day for the children with face painting, treasure hunt, baloon animals, magic tricks and so on.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I believe that you always meet the right persons or oppurtunities in life at the right time, I am looking forward to get to know you ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to show you all the things I am passionate for and my favourite places!
