About Me
I'm a pretty laid back person, love to travel, meet new people, and experience new cultures. I am probably the most atypical accountant that you'll ever meet! Love backpacking, dancing Latin and Caribbean music, extreme sports and anything that has to do with being out and about. I am lucky to live in a city and neighborhood that makes all this, and more, possible and would love to share my fortune with my fellow travelers.
Since I am new to this site, please check out my listing on Airbnb, where I have over 40 reviews:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to be an Airbnb host for a year and a half and loved every minute of it! It really opened my eyes to the whole sharing economy and how we can all benefit from each other's wealth. Not to mention, I met so many amazing people that I would have not met otherwise, got to show them my city (NY) and experience its beauty as seen through their eyes. At the current moment, I am backpacking through Asia, so my apartment is not available for hosting . But in the same time, I would like to meet like minded people who love traveling and exploring and don't mind sharing their space with other travelers. I would also like to attend the Couch Surfing meetings and event. Travel itself is fun, but what's even more fun is sharing your journey with others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I quit my job at the end of December, sold my things, purchased a ticket to Japan and I've been traveling around Asia ever since. Spent a month in Japan, one in Taiwan and going to the Philippines next. Although this was my biggest dream, I never really believe that I would have the courage or the money to pursue it. It's amazing what budgeting and taking on side jobs can do for you! I have been on the road for three months, living out of a a backpack, not sure where this journey will take me next, and I've never been happier in my life.
