Overview
About Me
I'm from Luxembourg but am currently living in Lund, Sweden studying a master's in Environmental Studies and Sustainability Science. I love learning about the way the structure of our society creates environmental problems - and thinking about how we can hopefully change that!
I travelled through South America after high school for 9 months, which was an experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me even more excited to learn about the different perspectives people have across the globe. Now I mainly travel in Europe during the summer, always finding new places to surprise me.
I am quite social and love to talk over a beer or a cup of tea, am thoughtful and considerate, and communicate openly. I really think that a big portion of interpersonal conflicts could be avoided if we all just share a bit more about what goes on inside of us - so I try to do that!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love getting to know a place through the eyes of someone who lives there. I care quite little about historical landmarks, and would rather like to know where you're favourite café to have an afternoon coffee is, which square is nice to sit in in the evening, and where you can find some quiet in the middle of a busy city.
I also feel that couchsurfing is an amazing way to meet people you might otherwise not have crossed paths with.
Interests
As soon as the sun is out, I want to be outside moving. Surfing makes me incredibly happy - having only the ocean around me, paddling for the wave that could also just crash on my head gives me such a thrill. If there's no ocean or waves around, I love to skate or run or play volleyball or just go for long walks.
Cooking and eating is almost a hobby in itself for me. I get really excited about pastries and love to cook for others (although I always get a little bit stressed in the end because I'm worries it won't be good enough).

Music, Movies, and Books
I recently got into fantasy books again, which has definitely reconnected me with my younger self. I love anything by V.E. Schwaab, and found The Dispossessd by Ursuka K. Le Guin thought-provoking and fun at the same time.
Favourite book is A little Life. No other book has touched me as quickly and deeply as this one.
I love learning what other people have read and talking about books!
I appreciate live music a lot. There is something magical about seeing people play instruments or sing with their entire body, communicating so much more than just what you can hear. I love to sing and play the guitar, though both not extremely well, all the better with more people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I speak quite a few languages and I enjoy helping others learn new words or ways of expressing themselves.
I am also quite a decent cook and will happily make some meals for you.
Although I am not a professional, I can also guide us through some yoga flows.
