About Me

Hi!
My name is Lisa, I am 25 years old and hungry for adventure.

I am not going to write a lot about me. I am easy to enthuse, inspire and get along.
Let's rather meet and I will tell you more in person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently living as an Erasmus student in Budapest and would love to expore Hungary and the surrounding countries. I think Couchsurfing is the best way to meet new people, learn about cultures, make friends and travel in a consumption friendly way. Discover the unknown, be open minded and see what happens.
Also, I want to share my experiences, have interesting conversations and have fun at new places. I would be happy to show people my city Dortmund in Germany when I am back!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the best first hitchhiking experience this summer. I have been hitchhiking through Georgia and met amazing people. A ride with two men transporting 1000 (after a break only 999) honeymelons across the country proved their great karaoke skills, a family took me to their home to invite me to a traditional and delicious dinner and working men in a truck transporting wood to the mountains showed me on an adventurous drive beautiful and hidden spots in nature.

I have done a things that inspired me and I wouldn’t want to be without the experiences I gained during my travels or just by meeting people.
Often sponateous decisions lead to the best adventures and sometimes the simple moments of everyday life are the best.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be happy to learn anything about your home and you as a person! Not exporing cities like a tourist but get to know places and people from the inside.
Over a coffee, homemade dinner, with a glas of wine or good beer.
Open to explore cities, nature, climbing spots or new places.
I am happy to share travel stories, exchange opinions on random topics, dance in the rain or do whatever.

I am still quite new to Couchsurfing. What I know for sure: I want to be an easy-going, helpful guest and an open minded and welcoming host.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What you can learn from me:
How to do a headstand and cook the best lasagna!
Also I can teach you some German (swear words and sayings included).
