My name is Lisa, I just finished my studies in English and French at the University of Stuttgart where I have been living for almost six years now. I'm an uncomplicated, laid-back, curious and helpful person who is travelling whenever possible e.g. to France, Italy, Thailand, Bali, Canada, the U.S., Australia and Ireland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I enjoy travelling and would like to learn more about foreign cultures. As a tourist one often gets a limited view of a city/country. Due to the fact that I will become a language teacher, intercultural learning is key and the best way to overcome prejudice is to staying with locals.

Interests

In my spare time, I generally read a lot, listen to spotify instead of studying for exams, go to the movies, watching/doing sports (not too much though) or hang out with friends.

I'm passionate about music and love music festivals (Indie/Rock/Alternative) such as the "Southside Festival" in Southern Germany.
Favourite bands are Mumford&Sons, Ben Howard, The Wombats, Alt-J, Gaslight Anthem, Dispatch, Ed Sheeran, Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling Thailand's most beautiful islands, scuba diving on Bali, visiting Australia's biggest Nationalpark & watching crocodiles living in the wild, watching the sunset at Killbear Nationalpark in Canada and driving a large part of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way

I will be travelling to Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand for three months (September-December 2017) and would love to share a tasty German meal with you :)
