Originally from southern Sweden, I was a big traveler since being a kid. This made me open minded, curious, belonging to the world and not yet a single place. My dream would be to be an explorer in pre-modern times, which I in different angles try to pursue through the choice of my profession and learning how to sail. I write about my experiences, and I carry them onboard myself as I'm neverendingly elaborating them with what's new at seen horizons.

Now that might sound like an intro to a Lana del Rey song, but I guess the thought of traveling brings out this dreamy feeling. Might also be the glass of wine within arm's reach...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first, second and third couch was in Tokyo and wow. I'm still in contact with some people that I met years ago though this site. Because? I think my approach to meeting people tend to be deep and humble.

Anyhow, the local experience is hard to beat, and I had a great come-back on CS while in Athens this summer. I'm willing to host people in my place as well to give you a true feeling of, for you, strange coordinates. (Yes, maybe it's the wine).

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read philosophy, mostly ancient greek, as a mere way of picking out the simple life told indirectly. Also, any book that'll give me new knowledge (law, sailing, analogue photography).

For visitors to Sweden I'd recommend Strindberg's The Red Room greatly for inspiring old, candlelit mental images.
