Community minded, into sustainability and connecting with my community. I currently work part-time and active in my neighbourhood. My children are now adults. We still like to camp, cook, grow things, have people stay with us.
Unfortunately I do not have heaps of time to hang out. But I'm always open to inviting my guest to join me at whatever ever community/social/sporting things I am up to.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I firmly believe in the share economy and alternative ways of living, travelling and exploring. I may go travelling in the future and like to explore couch surfing.

I currently have a single bed in my back lounge room. There is some space for storing bags, and of course access to bathroom, kitchen, backyard etc.

This is not a private space, but if staying with me, I will try to keep your area calm and quiet for your resting periods.

Please see pictures to make sure you can live with some level of disruption to your 'private space.' This may not suit everyone.

I had a home birth at a time when it was not considered the normal way to do things. I therefore avoided medical intervention, which is very common.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach cooking with whole foods, living with less waste, food preserving, how to host community events, how to grow foods.

I can learn to switch my home to renewable energy, to install an irrigation system, to make the home more warmer in winter, cooler in summer. I can learn about energy systems, the natural environment, ecology etc. I can learn more about photography, film making, online share platforms, cooperatives, anything that makes my heart sing!
