About Me
Hey couchsurfers!
I'm Lisa and I love to travel, to discover new things and to meet new people.
The last years, I did some exchange programs which took me to live in France, Canada and Italy. There I had a such amazing time with such nice people I'll never forget. I'm really thankful for that and all the trips I did during this period.
I decided to make traveling my lifestyle for now. I moved into a RV with my partner and our little Dachshund Schopenhauer. We plan to do the Panamericana. Currently, we are in the US.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a fantastic invention.
It is a nice way to meet other travelers, to learn about their culture and to share experiences.
Discover cities with locals, find some hidden places you would have never seen without them. That is what I really appreciate.
For me, it's like Roald Dahl claimed: "And all above, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it."
I open my home to you, to hear your stories, share our lives even if its only for a day, to me, that is what matters most in life.
Interests
First of all, I appreciate music and art in general and good food.
Back home, I used to sing in a band, since I started living in a new place by almost every year, the first thing I do is looking out for people to jam with. While doing couchsurfing, I'm always in for playing some songs.
I like farmers markets and chilling in the park with a good book. I'm interested in cinema, photographs and writing. And I'm a fan of Ginkgo biloba.
Besides, I love to restore old furniture and painting.
My sister has got a horse and I'm quite passionate in horseback riding, too. I also do enjoy skiing, running, biking, swimming and other outdoor-sports.
I want to live passionately, learn intently, embrace change, give more than I take.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did this quite long roadtrip in summer 2015, spent 30thousand kilometers in an old Saturn I bought in Québec and enjoyed every single moment of the voyage. It was by far the most amazing experience of my life.
And once, I saved a woman's life by hazard. I'll tell you the story when we meet :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always interested in some new recipes and I do have a lot to give, too. Don't expect the german cuisine, it's often too meateating. Apart from Brezel, Dampfnudeln, Spätzle or some delicious pastries.
I'm able to do hairstyling and I love it. Help people feel pretty makes me happy.
I would love to learn sth new, no matter what :) and improve my guitar!
What I Can Share with Hosts
