About Me
What to say about me? I guess one of the most important things in my life is making music, specifically singing and playing the guitar.
Other than that, university and work take up enough time to fill the day.
When I find the time, I try to learn about different cultures, but that's rather difficult when you've never left Europe. So one of my big aims is to go to a different continent some time in the next few years, preferredly Asia or Africa.
Right now I can't think of anything else that might be interesting, so if you want to get to know me just message me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always liked to meet new people, get new contacts, hear new stories. Plus if those people are kind and open enough to offer their couch/spare mattress or whatever they have to strangers, they must be the kind of person you'd like to get to know better :)
Interests
I make a lot of music - basically that comes from loving to sing. The instrument I've been playing most lately isthe guitar.
I don't want to give you a wrong impression - I'm not a great musician. I just love making music so that's what I do.
Otherwise I'm a very communicative person :)

Music, Movies, and Books
difficult to say... basically I'm open to almost everything (maybe not in movies, but otherwise... totally...). Lately it's a lot of Country and Jazz (weird combination, I know) and a bit of rock and symphonic metal, but it changes every few weeks.
As for books, I've read a few very inspiring books over the last few years, including "the canterbury sisters", "looking for alaska" and "we are all completely beside ourselves". I'm also very into a certain type of Fantasy, with authors like Tamora Pierce and Christoph Marzi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I haven't really done any amazing things. A few stupid things though :D
But there have been a lot of small moments that have given me a lot of joy.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a lot of abilities that nobody needs - I can do origami, I know how to play the recorder, I know lots of animals that live in german streams, I know how to feed phasmides...
If you tap the wrong topics, you might end up having to learn about the basic cognitive functions because I will be unstoppable :D
However I like to talk about anything, so if you're going to meet me: A time of talking your way comes. In my experience you learn things from people, that they didn't expect you to learn from them.
