I've been travelling since December 2016. Before that I lived in Taiwan for three years. Before that I lived in Vancouver for 4 years. And before that I grew up in a teeny tiny town in Ontario, Canada.

I want to see the whole world and I'm doing my best to make it happen. I try to live a healthy lifestyle, but work and wine sometimes get in the way - I'm mostly ok with that. I enjoy yoga and running and hiking and reading.

I love to cook, and try to eat healthy, with a focus on natural foods - if it comes form the earth or the sea it's good for you. If you are vegetarian or vegan, I can be for a few days too and I have some great vegan recipes.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I work online as an ESL teacher and editor. I usually rent an airbnb or find a private room/apartment for the month where I can work comfortably (teaching is very noisy). At the same time I take small trips to cool places nearby. That's where couchsurfing comes in.

I want to see the whole world and meet as many real people as I can. I've been staying in hostels for little trips for the social aspect, but most of the conversations I end up having are the same. I want to meet locals or expats, not backpackers.

Music--> I love anything with a "real" vibe. Except country. And opera.
Movies--> Do TED talks count? I don't really have the attention span for movies
Books --> Fiction: Paulo Coelho, George RR Martin, Isabelle Allende
