Hey! We are and Austrian/Australian couple (Lisa&Kura). 🇦🇹 🇦🇺 We love to meet new people with different lifestyles and mindsets. We are respectful and uncomplicated people and love to broaden our horizons during traveling. Trying to get out of our comfort zones daily.

I haven’t had the chance to host people so far as I’ve never really had my own home. I hope that I can give all that back in the future once I found a place to settle. 🏠

I do have that strong belief that humans do have good hearts! And the more I travel the stronger that belief gets. I’m meeting amazing people in every country who have an incredible big heart, a huge passion for hospitality and are proud of where they are from. 🌎

Both of us are outdoorsy people and love everything with is related to nature. Hiking, Skiing etc. We are into camping and just bought a 4Wd to drive across Australia. There is no better feeling than waking up somewhere in the middle of nature. ☺️😇

I definitely don’t take it for granted that I do have that great privilege to travel, not everybody can. Let’s be kind to each other. 🥰

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Want to get to know the locals and get closer to culture and ways of living. Hostels are great but mostly you are ending up in a bubble of other travelers. Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to also meet some locals and people I would have never met in any other way. ☺️

Oh and by the way: we both have good manners, keeping things clean, being polite and respectful is natural for us. Sadly it’s not like that for everyone here!! :(

Interests

Life is an endless journey of learning from others so that’s what I‘m trying to do. Maybe others can also learn from me. Listening helps a lot in that sense.

Sailing Trip from Lombok to Labuan Bajo to see the Komodos. Trekking Langtang trek in Nepal. Backpacking trough India. Living in my Van in New Zealand. Skiing in Colorado.
