About Me

Recently moved to Darwin, unfortunately I am not able to host but happy to meet up and show you around places.

I left a little cubicle for the big wild world! After spending a decade in the corporate world, I realised there are more than one way to live life. Creating memories is way more exciting than seeing the numbers grow in the bank account.

3 year ago I decided to leave a "perfect" stable life in Australia and started my journey exploring the world. I traveled through mostly Asia in 2018 and I had a little taste of Europe last year and I absolutely loved it!

I was meant to be on a trip to South America in April but Covid19 changed everything. I am taking the time to recharge, rest, create, learn and grow. I am becoming a meditation teacher, also wanting to pick up Spanish in the meantime and learn how to play djembe drum and ukulele.

Travelling and Yoga are my 2 biggest loves, and I feel extremely lucky to be able to combine the two as a way of living. To me travelling is not just about where you go, but mostly the people who you meet along the journey. Everyone can teach you something you don't know and the best stories are often told between the pages of the passport.

Me: I love connecting with like minded people, but I also value my personal space. I am quite sensible most of the time, and sometimes funny, silly with a weird sense of humor ;). I don't take things too seriously and often laughing at my own stupidity. I love listening to others travel stories and because I find them so inspiring and they often give me ideas of where to go next. Most of my travels are quite spontaneous because I love the freedom to go wherever I feel like at the time.

Apart from sharing travel stories, I also enjoy conversations about philosophy, spirituality, astrology, books and culture etc

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is a great platform to meet cool and like minded people (sometimes weird people), share stories and create memories. I am always inspired by others travel stories and that gives me new ideas of new places to visit and new things to try!

Interests

I can talk all day about travelling, listening to your stories and sharing my own! I try to practise yoga daily as it makes me feel good both physically and mentally. I am a very active person, from gym to anything outdoor, running, hiking, biking, SUP, kayaking or just watching stars and the moon. I love immersing myself in nature, either running up the mountains or lazying at the beach, that's where I feel most connected to the universe.

Thank goodness I am a very active person because I LOVE food! Anything you name it, sweet, savory, western or asian. I also love cooking and searching fo local foods wherever I go. I believe food is a way to connect people together. If you also like food then I already like you :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you yoga, pilates, meditation, Chinese and English. I was born and raised in China and been living in Australia for 13 years. I can give you tips about travelling to China and Australia.

I am farscinated by languages and cultures. I adore people who have musical and dancing skills, still really want to learn an instrument. Something easy to learn and to travel with, maybe flute or hand drum, any suggestions?

I recently tried Acroyoga and really love it, I am looking for people to practise together.
