Back from my gap year in between courses at university I still want to travel and see the world. However I have to set it apart for another year and finish my degree.
Nevertheless I like to learn as much about other cultures and countries as I possibly can and am always glad to get into contact with other surfers. :)

I am afraid of highs - but ready to jump off of a bridge to do bungee jumping.
I have a tremendous fear of oceans (I LOVE water and to swim, only do I have a really irrational fear of sharks and depth.) No matter how often you tell my rational side that no big bad fish is gonna eat me - it will take a great toll on me jumping off this boat into the water or going on a boat I know will go out onto the ocean enough so I won't see the shore anymore ...
My friends say, I am not easily predictable - I will probably do the one thing that I am most afraid of. Just to prove myself that I CAN do it.
At the same time I love my "german being" and logical approach to everything. ;)

To make new friends, get to know new places, cultures and languages.

Interests

I love to learn languages and get to know new cultures. I personally believe that learning a language without learning about the culture is not as good as learning both. If you get to know a culture you also tend to speak better because you know how to use certain words and phrases. (Translate one to one is not a good option - see google translate. It can be done but never will be fully able to translate the words as well as the meaning behind them.)
I also love to travel, to read, solve puzzles and at times I am quite happy to sit alone on the beach and just see the waves and let the energy of them into my soul.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read. Actually I never go out of my house without a book ... so naturally there are a lot of fav books I have. (Way too many to list here) I don't have any special kind of books I read. However at the moment I'm all into The Hunger Games and Black Dagger.
My over all favourite movie is Tears of the Sun. <3
As for music: it depends on my mood (suppose this is nothing new to anybody...). I can listen to the same song for weeks or change it every few seconds ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I set out on a five-month advanture throughout Peru. Everything I did there was amazing. :) The best propably was climbing the Rainbow-Mountain and go swimming in the amazon-rainforest.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try to teach you German if you want. However I am a poor teacher. But I can share the stories about my own culture and country and the places I stayed in.
I want to learn as many new things as I can. Should this be information about other cultures or things like surfing - I'm open to a lot of fun and action and hope to get a few new experiences interacting with people from all over the world. :)
