About Me

Hi there! :)
I'm a psychology student loving to travel around. I'm in my final Bachelor year and am going to start my thesis in September.

I am hiking at Skåneleden at the coast of southwest Sweden currently.

I would describe myself as cautious, friendly, curious, life-loving, openminded and still.... a bit shy. I definitely enjoy meeting new people but sometimes take a little time to open up. If I like you and you give me this time, we could have really deep talks as I obviously must like that as I study psychology but am also always up for spontaneous and crazy things ;)
What I really like about myself is that I am trying not just to scratch the surface but to look behind things. For me, it makes things and people whole and precious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard a lot about it on my travel in Australia. Some friends had good experiences, others not the best... Once I helped two friends out and it was really great. I like the idea of bringing people together and help each other. It's like there is still the good in humans - people discovered their goodness and want to share it.
I've had a great experience in Helsinki. I meet wonderful people and my day wouldn't have been that much fun without them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like rather rock music, 77 Bombay Street who are a Swiss folkrock band or Gotthard who are a Swiss hard rock band. I like Rise Against and Billy Talent, Imagine Dragons, Sunrise Avenue and Green Day.
But I also like music with meanings or good texts, I consider Jasper, Tagtraeumer and Pizzera&Jaus as that. I do like swing music but no one in particular.

My favorite film is the secret life of Walther Mitty - it has just so beautiful pictures and music! The story is great, too. It inspired me to go to Iceland :D
Otherwise I like comedies and action movies.

I used to read a lot, much Fantasy and later especially Dystopians. Trudi Canavan was one of my favorites, I enjoyed Legend by Marie Lu and of course the Hunger Games. There had been so many Dystopians... quite countless :'D
At the moment I am a fan of the seven sister series by Lucinda Riley which is quite untypical for me.
When I was younger, I really loved mangas, especially Naruto.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done an Alp crossing with my school. We hiked for six days, startet in Germany and ended in Italy. That was an amazing feeling. And we have seen so beautiful landscape, it was unbelievable!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Things I could NOT teach you: everything with music as I am unfortunately not talented :D

As I mentioned before I like to talk about life. Sometimes it helps to see things from another perspective. As it's a prejudice, no, psychology students can't read your mind. Luckily.. ;)
I would be really happy to share the greatest Cookies recipe with you.
