Hi there! I'm Lisa and I like to discover new things: new languages, new cultures, new countries and, of course, new people, because that's people who make a country special. When I have such an opportunity, I meet and work with foreigners. Actually, my work always was connected with foreigners somehow. Sometimes I work as a guide with tourists, that arrive to Vladivistok by "The Princess" or other ship.
I like art, especially paintings. And I appreciate dancers very much (but, well, I don't really like some kinds of modern dances like booty, I don't really get its point).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As much as I know myself I can say that travelling is my passion (I don't think it's unusual on Couchsurfing, but that is so). And what can be more interesting and useful than travelling with Couch? I heard people talking about this programm and sharing their unforgettable impressions and decided to try it myself.

Interests

I like drawing, it's just my hobby and no more. I draw not so much, when I'm in particular mood only, but it's always interesting to meet some kind of artists or creative people.
As I said, I like dancing. I myself have danced Irish dance for 3 years. I've also tried tango and pole dance. No it is more like fitness and yoga but I'd like to return to dancing.
I have not so much free time, but when I have I try to study French by myself. It's difficult, but I hope sometime I'll be able to say something in it.
I also like reading and drinking tea (oh, tea, especially with lemon, is my weakness). And chocolate. Yeah.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to music, but can't name my favourite genre. I don't like rap, that's what I know. It's more rock or metall or classical or whatever.
Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings are the greatest. I must say it. I love them.
What about movies, I haven't seen many of them but I'd like to change it. It's difficult to name my favourite film.
Oh, and impossible book! I like Oscar Wald, "The Forsyte saga" by Galsworthy, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" by Ken Kesey, "Gone with the Wind" by M. Mitchell...it'd take an enternity to name them all! And I'm always open to new books and points of view.
