Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been working for years to have the funds for my travels, but I am still on a tight budget. I have heard great things about CS and wanted to give it a try. I also love to meet new people and I believe the best way to travel is by making lasting friendships around the world.

To be entirely honest, my movie-game is pretty weak. However, I would love recommendations!

I am a bit of a book nerd. I love to learn about most of anything; I'm a curious cat. My favorite author is and has been forever Mitch Albom. I also adore Kurt Vonnegut. I loved A Little Life!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I pride myself in my determination. I paid my way and completed college in three years with the highest honors and self-funded my entire travels. I'm a nerd, so it goes.

I've also traveled solo through 53 countries. During this time I went bungee jumping, skydiving, hitchhiking, diving with thresher sharks and eels, diving in the Red Sea, swimming in the Dead Sea, living in Europe for a bit less than a year, trekking, climbing Mount Fuji, partied hard, and received my TEFL and teaching yoga and advanced scuba diving certifications. One of the most life changing experiences I’ve had was travel India north to south, west to east, meeting enlightened masters and gurus of our time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook, so I would love to teach and share recipes with you. It's popular in asian cultures to show appreciation and gratitude, via home-cooking, so if I have the time, I'd love to cook for you!

I love learning new languages and learning new things about cultures, histories, and personal stories. I'm all about making a real connection with new cultures and new people, and I'm extremely open minded. At the end of the day, human connection is all we have.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will always be curious to learn about new cultures, courteous with your space, and respectful of you! I thank you so much in advance for even considering sharing your space with me and I hope we have a great time together.

I can share yoga and meditation classes if it is something your interested in.

Lastly, if your home is my home--then my home is your home!! As of now, I don't really know where that is, but I will let ya know when I am back in LA and feel free to come by as a token of gratitude.
