Hello, I'm Lisa!
I'm a 23-year-old girl from Bavaria, Germany. I've never lived abroad, even though that's a big goal of mine. Preferably in a country where they either speak French or Spanish, so that I can improve my language skills.
For about half a year now I've been working as a Flight Attendant for a major European airline which has completely changed my lifestyle from having a 9 to 5 office job to having breakfast in Toulouse and dinner in Milan and then going for a pint in a pub in Dublin the next day. Thanks to my job I meet many new people (collegues and passengers) from all over the world, I get to travel to destinations I would normally never even consider visiting like Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia or Kazakstan. I would say I'm open minded, easy to get along with and spontanious when necessary 😋

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to see different aspects of the world, meet interesting people and experience how their real life in an entirely different environment. Due to my job I usually only stay in a foreign country for a day or two or even only a few hours and therefore hardly get to meet any locals, especially cause I stay in Hotels all the time. I think Couchsurfing is the best way to change that especially 'cause I don't want to depend on other people when travelling. That means I want to travel by myself to be more flexible and spontanious. Also, since I'm very interested in learning new languages, I want to take the chance to travel to different countries to use my language skills and hopefully improve them.

Furthermore, I of course like to listen to music, sleep and spend more time on the internet than I should. However, I'm becoming more and more interested in nature, landscapes and exploring the world. I'm particulary interested in Scandinavia, Irleland, Island, Scottland, ... well the list is endless really ^^

I like all sorts of music really but some of my favourite bands are Volbeat, Metallica, Three Days Grace, ... so well I guess there's a theme here ;)

When it comes to movies I enjoy funny movies like the Hangover trilogy, but one of my all time favourite films is This is England.

A few favourites of mine are 'Schlangenhaus' (The Awakening, Sharon Bolton), 'Schwarzer Schmetterling' (Glacé, Bernard Minier). I like the 'Jack-Daniels' Thrillers (J.A. Konrath) and well I basically read all sort of Thrillers :) Oh and of course the Harry Potter books.. and movies.. and everything Harry Potter :P.

I can certainly try to teach you some German/Bavarian or English (I'm not a native speaker though) if you are interested. If you want to know anything about what It's like to work abve the clouds, I' ll be happy to answer you all the questions you have.

As mentioned above I'm interested to learn about the real life of real people. That of course also works the other way around! I'd be happy to answer you any questions you ever had about life of a normal girl in Germany. Of course I'll happily try to teach you some German as well! Besides that I'm friendly, funny, spontanious and ready to try out new things.
