About Me

We live together - https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/jayce-holland

I'm travelling around at the moment but if you need a place to stay I'm sure my family is keen to host you when they have time ;)

I living in a small village in the south of germany, very close to thw border of austria and switzerland. I have a older sister, she moved already out and an older brother, he is studying and comes home at the week-ends. We have a cat, a dog and two horses! I really like animals.

I've finished school this year, first I wanted to start my studies, but now I decided to explore autralia for 10 or 11 month. (Or maybe I stay longer?!)
In this time, I want to see a lot of different parts of down under, work on different horsefarms and learn new things about horsetraning. I'm riding since I was 5 years old, today we've two own horses and I think working on different big farms is the ideal possibility to learn new aspects.

I've worked in melbourne on a horsefarm for 2 month and it was just such a good time! The people there were lovely and tried to always show me new things! I tried a lot of different food, met new people, saw beautiful places and lots of aussi animals! Work was fun and I've learned a lot! I was allowed to ride different horses and even if it was exhausting, it was very good! The lady I've worked with is nominated for the olympic games in rio next year, so I met all important people for eventing (dressage, show jumping, cross country) and could watch interesting lessons!

After working in Melbourne, I travelled over tassie and a friend joined me. We had three weeks for hitchhiking all over tassie. We started in hobart and did a loope, we went to port arthur, all along the east coast, saw wineglass bay, bay of fires, saw some pinguins in lowhead, took a look of launceston, went along the west coast, stanley and the nut, did a road trip with some very relaxed tassie guys in the west and cradle montain! I never met so many nice people! Often they just invited us to put our tent up in their backyard. We spent some amazing days with a family, went to the beach with them, collected pipi and austers and took care of the kid.. . It was so a good experience to meet sooo many lovely people and they alwas tried to help us! That's the best thing about travel, just spent time with people lovely people and share ecxperiences, food, helping each other, laugh and explore the country togehter!

After this amazing time on Tassie, I traveled all along the east coast. I've met soo many cool and interesting people, tried so many new things and learned so much about life, people and myself! Traveling becomes addictive :D

I'm a very easy going person. I love to spent time with nice people and laugh togehter!
I try pretty much everything, at least once!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This year, I travelled with a friend around iceland for three weeks. In this time, different very kind and interesting people hosted us. So I notices that couchsurfing is a very good possibility to meet other people and learn more about their lifestyle and their interests.
Now I'm kind to give other people the opportunity to stay at my home :)

On travel I just love to meet other people. When I was on travel people just invited me to stay with them and we always had such a good time while talking, cooking togehter, do trips!
