I'm new to the Couchsurfing community, but not to travel. I love exploring new places and learning about different cultures. I think this world is too small to stay in one place. I want to experience as much of the world in my life as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and learning their stories. I also think the best way to experience a new place is through the lenses of the people who live there, so I think couchsurfing was a brilliant idea!

Interests

Travel (obviously), writing, reading, music (playing more than listening), building relationships through deep conversation or nonsensical conversation...either one, exploring and occasionally getting lost (that's usually what leads to the best stories), doing things that scare me, and I got some coloring books for Christmas that have basically taken over my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Alexandre Dumas is my favorite author (The Three Musketeers, Count of Monte Cristo), but it's his lesser-known books that I love the most, like The Black Tulip or Georg.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first time snorkeling was with sharks, stingray, and barracuda.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a lot of respect for other people's space and their things, so for people to be gracious enough to open their home to a complete stranger (or a friend you just haven't met yet), you should know that your trust will not be misplaced with me. Also, while I like getting to know people and appreciate being introduced to places by those who are from there, I do not need to be entertained 24/7.
