About Me
I am a working professional passionate about community and connecting with other like-minded folks. :) My husband and I are taking a few months away from our jobs in government to travel the world.
We will be travelling in Europe, Vietnam, and Australia! We love chatting about art, culture, movies, music, and politics.
We both come from big families and family oriented. We hope to be hosts one day when we are fortunate enough to have the space!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is an awesome alternative for travelling that allows you to meet locals and to travel like one. All of my Couchsurfing experiences have been nothing short of amazing, and I've made lifelong connections through this platform.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Bon Iver, Phoebe Bridgers, Chappell Roan, Lorde
Movies: Juno, Mamma Mia, Encanto, etc. I'm really interested in film history!
Books: Anything Emily Henry, retired Twilight fan, Beloved by Toni Morrison, Everything in this Room Will Someday Be Dead by Emily Austin... I did my degree in English so happy to talk books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favourite couchsurfing memories is my host in Barcelona taking me on the back of her motorcycle in Mt. Tibidabo. I remember thinking... "How can a stranger be so kind to me?" I think that captures the essence of couch surfing in a sentence. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am passionate about history, art, and also just laying in a park with good coffee. My subject area is in Indigenous relations in Canada and I am happy to share my knowledge and hear your thoughts.
I also LOVE food and am willing to try most things. I would love to help make some meals with you.
English is my first language and I am learning Spanish. My husband is also fluent in German. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can contribute to the household, share meaningful conversations, and I am always down for an adventure.
