Hey!

I don`t really imagine, how can I describe myself with a couple of sentences, but I`ll try to write all, what springs to my mind.

Well, I love to learn something new, whether it is an unusual musical instrument, the life story of any old bluesman, the names of wildflowers or, of course, new people and culture.

University takes a big part of my present life. I choose biology, because I hope, that it will help me to understand life in all its sides.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the year of my 18th I definantely realized one thing. Communication with people is cool! And communication with people from other countries is doubly cool. And despite of my little shyness I`m trying to be sociable and talkative and I really want it. So I hope, that CS (in addition to meeting new interesting people and understanding other cultures) helps me a lot.

Interests

I think, I`m pretty active. I`ve never called myself a sporty person, but I enjoy to spend my time riding bicycle (because in that way you can visit more beautiful places), skiing (wow! really great emotions, then you`re going down from a big mountain very fast), snowboarding (but I`m a beginner yet), kayaking (it`s my whole family`s hobby), riding a horse, climbing and so on.
Besides, I love music and art in common.

MUSIC

My musical tastes are quite various, so I listen to something from rude violent punk to gentle melodic folk depends on my mood . Sometimes it`s reggie, blues, celtic or classical music. I love life music, especially when my friends play the guitar or the piano. I also like to make music myself and try to play the guitar, and sometimes my friend (she is on couchserfing too) and I sing together.

I can`t totally imagine my life without reading. At the moment my favourite authors are Jack Kerouac, Stephen King, Ken Kesey, Truman Capote, Ray Bradbury and Daniel Pennac. And I admire poetry of Shakespeare, Robert Burns, Charles Baudelaire, Jacques Prevert.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, there are other great things, but somehow that`s the first thing, which came to my mind every time I read this question.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you Russian`s ribaldry.
And if without jokes, I can sing you a song (with my friend Dasha), play guitar or jam with you or teach you some Russian melodies (like "V trave sidel Kuz`nechick"), tell you about very beautiful and wild places like Kamchatka and White sea or cook russian pancakes for you (actually, I don`t think, what it`s a native Russian dish, but at least I know, how to cook it well).
