I'm a "retired" newspaper reporter and now an author of young adult novels.
I have two daughters who try not to let me see how crazy they think I am. I've lived in my campervan for the past three years and soon I'll be traveling Europe for three months with nothing but a backpack slung over my shoulder.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Soon I'll be leaving my campervan for Europe. I'm trying to stay on a budget, so I'll need places to stay.
This also leaves my van empty for travelers in Florida .
