About Me
So far, I haven't seen as much of the world as I would like to, so it certainly would be nice to get to know people from lots of different countries and cultures. Also, during my recent travels I realized that I've been spending a lot of time in my comfort zone, and that sometimes I am way too happy with routine. So I am trying to give myself a little shake, spice things up, make live more colourful and more unpredictable (though of course there's nothing wrong with a decent amount of reliability, at least when it comes to important matters).
Throughout the last ten years I have been studying and working mostly in Göttingen, Lower Saxony, Germany, which is a great not-too-big town to visit as well as to live in. I recently returned from a West-to-East trip through Canada, where I met some wonderful people through couchsurfing.
PLEASE NOTE : I'd love to show people around my town or meet up for drinks and try making their stay as nice an experience as possible.
However, due to a new job I currently can NOT host guests.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I think it's an awesome way not only to get around on a budget, but most of all to meet new people and maybe get some nice advice about the place one is visiting.
Also, by using means such as cs, we might all eventually learn that most strangers out there are in fact pretty decent and trustworthy people. If we took that lesson to heart, we all might get along just a little better.
Interests
My interests range from reading (a lot) and watching good movies to being outdoors, going for hikes, camping, canooing, whatever might come up. I love acting and going to the theater, singing (though I get really nervous when singing a solo piece in front of an audience), going to concerts, lots of cultural stuff.
Some of my future endeavours will hopefully include improving my Spanish and learning how to play the guitar; and I recently started doing parcours (it's super hard, but awesome and fun!).
