There have been hundreds of moments in the past when this philosophy of my life came true. Sometimes you just have to let things happen without interference or overthinking - and everything will turn out wonderful.

I am a travel enthusiast from Leipzig (Germany) and I'm the happiest girl to have fulfilled my dream of a trip around the world in 2016 and 2017 with my friend Sonja (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/sonja-bruns). Many of my references refer to her as well because we've been using only this profile during our travels.

One of the best parts of my trip around the world was the possibility of getting in touch with local people, sharing their extraordinary lifestyles, good stories and exploring their beautiful countries. I surfed many couches across the world because of the feeling of real travels. This is what I want to experience in all of my travels. Therefore I try to surf as much as possible!

Intereses

Have you ever seen something so beautiful, it could easily make you cry? ... Happened to me many times at the sight of nature. I love being outside - hiking, climbing, kayaking, cycling, swimming or just admiring. The beauty of nature creates the feeling of being small and big as a giant at the same time! When I travel, I don't only want to get to know the locals, their culture and fascinating cities, I also try to see as much as possible of a country's nature.

At home, I spend my time taking photos, reading, painting. I love food and cooking and mostly, recreating the amazing recipes I've tried in other countries.

I watched dozens of humpback whales surrounding and even bumping the little fishing boat I was on in the remoteness of Alaska.
I slid down an active volcano on my bum.
I accidently drove a car on an airport's landing strip.
I hiked barefoot in my bikini through ankle-deep mud in the Hawaiian jungle.
