Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I guess the cost difference is an obvious advantage. But most and foremost, I love to travel somewhere and actually get to know someone who is from there. It makes me feel so much more at home in a foreign country. Also, you have access to knowledge that most people don't have. You hear about secret locations, special places, personal recommendations. It's like playing a video game with someone who already finished the game and who wouldn't want that advantage?
