My name is Lisa. I am a college student from the United States. I grew up in Czech Republic. I'm studying biology and hope to one day go into dentistry. I travel a lot with my boyfriend, Cody. So i added him to my profile picture. :) I love renaissance era art. Art museum are the main sights that we look for when we travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think the best way to meet culture is to be immersed in it, and thats why couch surfing is an amazing network of people. You get to spend time and get to know people who are experts about their town. They are the ones who can give you the best advice.

I figure skated in high school, but not so much now. School takes up a large portion of my time, but in my spare time I travel, as we all do.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is all over the place and changes often so i couldn't possibly pick a favorite. I've seen many TV shows and right now im watching Downton Abbey and Vikings, i would recommend both. Friends is probably my all-time favorite. When it comes to books, Jane Austen is a classic pick. I don't mind re reading the same book many times since you learn something new about the story every time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled to Jordan and Abu Dhabi back in 2013. Petra, Jordan is one of those places that not many people have been to, and I would highly recommend visiting. Its unlike anything I have experienced before and I was in awe the entire time.
