Hi there, I'm Lisa!
I'm a 24 year old student from Austria (the tiny country with mountains not kangoroos), currently living and working in Freiburg, Germany. It's been a while since I've spent so much time in the same place after some years of moving around, living, working and studying abroad in Singapore, France, Spain and Sweden.

I don't want to bore you with too many details but here's some small facts about me
- People at work are usually surprised by my adventurous lifestyle, People I meet on adventures are surprised that I'm a boring physicist in my everyday life :D I guess it's all about balance
- The outdoors are my personal retreat, you will often find me in the mountains by foot, by bike, on skis or climbing. Always trying to make the most of every day: pursuing my passions and finding new things to be passionate about
- I find peace in being with my family, friends and the ones I love
- Using cooking and baking as personal therapy. The amount of cakes I bake is the best indicator of a good mood
- Surviving without coffee as a tea fanatic. And beer, beer is important.
- An introvert who likes being around people (just not always and not everyone)
- Sono capace to understand y hablar plusieurs languages aber nicht хорошо. Feel free to try your luck with your language and expect weird replies

I am eager to meet new people, hear their stories and experience their home from their eyes. Generally very open-minded and easy-going.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started off as a couchsurfing host while I was studying in Graz, Austria. With my lovely flatmate we regularly hosted couchsurfers on our self-built couch in our appartement. The great encounters with guests from all over the world have motivated me to try out the other side of couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Olympic Games in Sochi 2014 and Pyeongchang 2018 doing the hardest sport in the world - work ;)
