Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the only kind of surfing that you can get in a landlocked state! Actually, I learned about couchsurfing on the news one day and was curious to see what it was all about.

Interests

I enjoy being around nature when it is trying to eat me alive or trying to let the skin on my bones melt or freeze off. Fishing, camping, wildlife, parks, lakes,....

I also enjoy old buildings that have character in their structure or visiting historical places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I came back from the dead. Seriously! I was coded after a surgery that landed me in the middle of a room full of people trying to get me back. After that I took a spontaneous trip on the other side of the world. I love life! It is hard and throws curve balls, but I guess that is what keeps things interesting.

Teach, Learn, Share

With the love of life and culture, I have learned many things about people. The world is full of cruel people that have forgotten that at the end of the day we are all still people. I hold strong opinions that are not popular with the majority. Conversations are quite interesting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully, any host that welcomes me into their home will feel that I leave things better than when I came and that I leave them having had a positive impact on their lives. I do not drink or smoke or use drugs. The host should feel comfortable in knowing that I hold myself to the highest standard. I don't lie, cheat, gamble, or steal.
