About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am currently travelling around the world with my partner for one year, trying to see the bigger picture!
ABOUT ME
I am a quiet person, naturally the reasonable kind, yet a little crazy. It can take me one hour to make a decision, or one second. I am pretty normal, yet I like to be different. I am driven by the need to be authentic and sincere, just because it does not make sense otherwise.
I am quite a perfectionist (which can be a pain sometimes!), and quite pragmatic too, however I am trying to get away from this and open myself to a different way of thinking.
My life is mostly driven by passion, i am incapable of pursuing something i don't like, and my mind is full of silly micro-projects which I may or may not achieve but either way it feels comforting to have them.
Dancing is one of my passions, I love to see it, I love to practice it, I love to witness the brilliantness of the brain behind it and how it is able to memorise movements and coordinate them smoothly, interprate the music and make it look good at the same time...
Right now I am throwing myself into the world for one year for several reasons:
First because in order to be authentic I need to know myself and unveil my own limits.
Then because I want to know what things are like out there, I want to see with my own eyes what it looks like outside my native world and how people live and think.
Also because I want to be able to settle down somewhere, not just because I was born there or because I don't know anywhere else but because I actually chose to and I think this is the place that suits me and my lifestyle the best!
Finally because I like travelling and going on a trip around the world is something I want to do in my life, at least once, and now is the right timing. I am 30 yo, just finished my studies, don't have kids yet, and I met my partner Yoann who wanted to travel as well.
PHILOSOPHY
It's better to regret something you did than something you didn't do!
Tout ce qui ne s'exprime pas s'imprime.
All I know is I know nothing.
I am also very interested in these timing clevernesses, and how life somehow manages to bring you the things which are relevant at a strategic moment of your life...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't had the chance to host any couchsurfer yet since I did not know so much about backpacking and about the concept of couchsurfing before I started my world trip. But now that my apartment is not under renovation anymore, I will be ready and very happy to host couchsurfers and help travellers when I return home!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My partner and I were hosted by couchsurfers in Mumbai and in Hong Kong during our trip, which was really nice, I am always very impressed about how people can sometimes get out of their way to help others! However I would never ask for that much, I can handle myself and adapt to the conditions I am being given. I am more the independent type, but I am very happy to share the things I know and learn about what local life is like!
