About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn and gain vast culinary experiences all around the world

ABOUT ME

I have spent the last year and a half living and working in Copenhagen, Denmark at a great restaurant called Relae. I'm heading to France to pursue artisan bread baking! I'm currently trying to perfect my own whole wheat, naturally leavened bread at home.

Since living in Copenhagen, I love riding my bike and hope that other cities in the world can try to push for a bike culture like they have there.

I also enjoy hiking!

PHILOSOPHY

Never settle for less than you deserve

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I always try to couchsurf when I go to a new place and I hope to be a host when I finally settle into my own apartment or house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed in New Zealand, Australia and Denmark and have had fantastic experiences and made good friends along the way. I think it's a great way to meet interesting people in the world - and not only that, but to discover more about the city, country and culture that you are in. It's so wonderful to be kindly and openly befriended by a total stranger.

Interests

Cooking, bread baking, cook books, hiking, snowboarding, traveling, dining, wwoofing, food gardening, hosting dinners/lunches/brunches for friends and family, yoga, spending time with my family

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting my humble, caring and giving family in Cambodia for the first time and taking a road trip to donate money and goods to a poor temple in the countryside - along the way, giving money to the begging poor. A huge act of generosity from my family, who are also not so well off.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - I would like to teach you how to cook something you never thought you could make (like Chinese pork buns or wontons?)
Learn - I want to learn more about the following things: bread baking, charcuterie, butchery, wines, coffee, cuisines of the world, organic food gardening and FRENCH!
Share - maybe we can share information about the above topics?

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Cambodia, Fiji, France, Germany, Mexico, Sweden, Thailand, Tonga, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
