ABOUT ME

I am friendly, bubbbly and always up for a good shindig. I love meeting new people, and am very good at talking to.....well, just about anyone. I can make friends anywhere, be it in a bar or on a bus!! I love to see new places, experience new things and pretty much get the most out of life! I speak French and German pretty fluently (I lived in France, Germany and Austria for a bit!)....I love socialising and definately always take things with a pinch of salt.....I have a bit of sarcasm buried deep within me too!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting visitors to the good old burgh....I actually found I have more knowledge than I thought I did about this place! I am always up for letting couchsurfers come with me and my friends when we go out, if we are going.....its a great way to see the night life, as it is always easier being taken out with a group of people who know where to go!!

I host when possible, thought I don't like to do it too often as I don't want t o infringe too much on my wonderful flatmate!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I basically couchsurfed my way round the USA last year. It was an amazing experience, and I met so many awesome people, many of whom I am still in touch with now! :)

Interests

Cinema, travel, musical theatre, socialising (bars, clubs and even just coffee in starbucks). Walking, being outside.....i love adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

i love movies. Ill give most things a bash, but tend to like the old fashioned, and some times very cheesy, romcoms. i love adam sandler films. My favourites tho, no matter how tragic, are 'the notebook, pretty woman and forrest gump!!

I also like a good bit of horror/thriller action. but have yet to be scared witless by one.....i challenge you to find one that scares me!

I love books too. i read anything...and thank god for my Kidle, its a godsend to a traveller. I love Jodi Picoult....have enjoyed every one of her books!

Music....anything i can dance to. but not trance or hardcore house! eeeew! Live piano music and guitars are awesome as is live jazz.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungee jumping in south africa was pretty cool. As was doing a safari in Kruger National Park!

Swimming with Dolphins in the Bahamas

Travelling alone in the USA, couchsurfing and hitch hiking! :)

i love learning about new things, anything. sometimes im just too lazy to read fact rather than fiction. so i listen to those who are already scripted on it!! :)
