ABOUT ME

I'm from Jasper, a little mountain town in the Canadian Rockies. I'm passionate about the outdoors, I'm artsy, easy going, and always keen to try new things.

I'm a second year Renewable Resource Management student studying in Whitehorse YT, but I've decided to take a break from the Great White North and take the next year (or more, who knows really) to return to warm up, work, hike, bike, kayak, paint, do yoga, see lots of live music, dance to a lot of live music, and gypsy around.

I love science, I love reading and traveling and and music and being taken by surprise. I love meeting new people, going new places and learning new things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My roommate and I used to host a lot when I lived in YT, when I moved back south it only seemed natural to keep going! I love meeting new people, learning new things and hearing new stories.

Also, I feel like I'm stockpiling good karma for when I head back out on the road myself, you can never have too many friends around this big blue rock!

I love music, and dancing, and books,and growing things, cooking, sharing with others, and being pushed out of my comfort zone.

I love being outside, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, I love children and animals, I love painting and writing, and midnight lake swimming. I like looking at stars, and wish I knew more about space!

I helped deliver a baby in the backcountry once. It was incredible, and terrifying.
